E-qualification Pass Experience Without Kurohon

I passed the E-qualification, so I’ll summarize my study content.
What I want to convey
- I recommend getting the TensorFlow Developer Certificate before the E-qualification
- Official practice problems are important
- Don’t give up until the end even if it doesn’t go as planned
Level before learning
- Python is already learned (can solve or not solve Leetcode (overseas version of AtCoder) Middle level)
- No prerequisite knowledge of machine learning
- Non-engineer who enjoys personal development as a hobby
Study content
① | Nov 2022 - Feb 2023 | Took DataCamp’s Machine Learning Scientist with Python |
---|---|---|
② | Mar-Apr 2023 | Took TensorFlow Developer Certificate in 2023: Zero to Mastery |
③ | May 2023 | Took DeepLearning.AI TensorFlow Developer Professional Certificate - Coursera |
④ | First half of June | Passed TensorFlow Developer Certificate on 2nd attempt |
⑤ | Second half of June | Took and completed zero to one E-qualification certification program speed package |
⑥ | July | Took a break from studying for online hackathon participation |
⑦ | First half of Aug | Couldn’t take study time due to work, etc.. |
⑧ | Second half of Aug 2023 | Did 2 rounds of practice problems from E-qualification certification program speed package (repeat 5-20 questions set until all correct, then go to next set) |
⑨ | Aug 27 | E-qualification exam |
⑩ | Sep | Received E-qualification pass announcement |
I bought several recommended books but didn’t have time to copy them, just skimmed through them.
① is a course that covers machine learning widely, the coding fill-in-the-blank problems were interesting and educational. ②③④ Getting TensorFlow Developer Certificate before studying for E-qualification is recommended because coding exercises and problems become considerably easier. ⑤ The course has excellent supervisors and trustworthy content, price is 70,000 yen which is the second cheapest after rapid challenge, the course and exercises cover what’s necessary while the amount is appropriate, so highly recommended.
I was really planning to do 5 rounds of the certification course practice problems then 5 rounds of Kurohon. However, time ran out after 2 rounds of the certification course practice problems, I thought I failed about 90%, but luckily I passed.
The official practice problems included in the certification course, even for 2 rounds, the method of “repeat 5-20 questions set until all correct, then go to next set” seems to have contributed.
If there’s someone around me taking the exam, I want to convey:
- I recommend getting the TensorFlow Developer Certificate before the E-qualification
- Official practice problems are important
- Don’t give up until the end even if it doesn’t go as planned
